21st Century Competencies
How prepared are we?

Globally, the education system is constantly redefining and recalibrating itself to adapt to the changing scenarios and the "new normal".

There is a renewed focus on creating a holistic learning framework which caters to all the needs of students and other stakeholders – and prepares them not only for the present, but also the future.

Key questions which drive our philososphy

Our guiding principles and anchors

We follow 'the A B C D E F' model towards problem solving

Analyse

The first step is to study the macro variables and break them down into smaller, simpler variables in order to have a holistic understanding of the area and also identify focus areas for subsequent deep dive

c6.jpg

Feedback

Each lap of a learning journey ends with the consolidation of different areas of strength and inputs for further development as well as drafting a personalized & customized roadmap for the learner for the next lap

c2.jpg

Brainstorm

Once we have an overview of the macro and the micro, we focus on deep-diving on these various factors and simultaneously discussing and finalizing our guiding philosophy and modus operandi

Evaluate

Assessment and recalibration go hand in hand with the learning journey and are integral activities for strengthening the effectiveness of the learning exercise by providing qualitative and quantitative data

Co-create and Curate

Post finalization of the need and the subsequent curriculum, we work on designing and assimilating content from different sources, ensuring alignment with the delivery and evaluation models and the learners' needs

c4.jpg

Deliver

Next step is to engage with the learners, working together for an enhanced learning experience, balancing between the different modes for delivery - Face-to-Face and Online tools and methodologies

Needs of the learners

we have designed a holistic framework which has been carefully crafted to ensure all needs of Indian students are taken care of.

Three pillars of our curriculum are as follows:

Discover-I

Areas where the individual needs to focus on within himself / herself
i.e. intra-personal

We-Learn

Areas where the individual needs to focus on how he / she interacts with other individuals
i.e. inter-personal

World is a Family

Areas where the individual needs to focus on how he / she interacts with other stakeholders
i.e. beyond humans

Our approach towards program design

  • How will we create an integrated framework which connects content to delivery?

  • How will we institutionalize a sustainable model which ensures effectiveness?

  • How will we design learning journeys where ‘man and machine’ work seamlessly?

How?

  • Why should we discontinue usage of traditional methods and not adapt and evolve?

  • Why should we discourage blatant ‘lift and shift’ of ‘western philosophies & frameworks’

  • Why should we create a model which brings together all stakeholders for the greater good?

Why?

  • What are 21st century skills - the definition & meaning of these competencies for us?

  • What is the relevance of these skills to the Indian context and the future?

  • What are the optimum curriculum and pedagogy models we should use?

What?

In order to conceptualize our programs, we started identifying the key questions

which helped us to structure and finalize our pillars for program design and delivery

Re-defining 21st century skills for Indian context

Learning experiences and journeys - curriculum and pedagogy

Face-to-Face and online - effective and sustainable delivery model

Collaborative and inclusive partnerships

How are our programs delivered?

We have blended together the effectiveness of face-to-face learning with the power of online learning tools to create a hybrid model of learning experience

Face to Face

Learning happens in the presence of an instructor

Digital

Learning happens with the usage of technological solutions

Closed group

Open group

Our logo - story behind the name & design

Logo GAZL v4.jpg

The core idea behind this endeavor is to create learning journeys and experiences for all demographic cohorts – right from Baby Boomers to Gen Alpha

"What's in a name?"

"What's in a name?"

Three dashes between ‘a’ and ‘z’ stand for the 3 other demographic cohorts – Baby Boomers, Gen X and Gen Y in addition to Gen Alpha and Gen Z

Learning for everyone

Learning for everyone

Learning is the foundation on which the development of an individual is centered upon, and hence has been placed at the roots of our existence

The roots

The foundation

Different sizes of the word ‘learning’ represent our acknowledgement of the different types of learners and their different learning styles

Personalized for you

Personalized for you

Another reason for using ‘A to Z’ connotation for our name is to indicate our design philosophy of providing ‘end to end’ learning journeys
